Getting started with VersaCharts

Welcome to VersaCharts

VersaCharts is a web-based charting platform for crypto. No download required, it runs in your browser.

Step 1: Redeem your invite

VersaCharts is currently a closed, invite-only beta.

  1. Go to versacharts.app/app/register
  2. Enter your invite code, email, and choose a password
  3. Set up two-factor authentication (2FA), required for all accounts

2FA is mandatory for security. You’ll need an authenticator app like Google Authenticator, Authy, or 1Password.

Step 2: Pick an exchange and pair

Once you’re signed in, the chart loads with a default pair. Use the symbol search to switch exchange and pair. VersaCharts pulls real-time candle data from 12 exchanges (Binance, Bybit, OKX, OKX EU, MEXC, KuCoin, Kraken, Coinbase, Gate.io, HTX, Bitget, and Bitstamp).

No API keys needed here. These are public market data feeds, not exchange accounts.

OKX and OKX Europe are two separate venues. OKX Europe is the MiCA-regulated European arm, so it lists only pairs quoted in EUR or USDC (529 of them), which is why its pair list is the shorter of the two. Its 102 X-Perps are not perpetuals despite the name: open-ended contracts do not fit under MiFID, so each is a dated future running to 2031. They cover 68 crypto, 30 shares and 4 commodities, so do not be surprised to find Apple or Brent crude in the list.

Step 3: Add indicators and draw

Open the indicator list to add technical indicators (RSI, MACD, Bollinger Bands, and 95 more), then use the drawing toolbar for trendlines, Fibonacci retracements, channels, and more.

Step 4: Save your layout

Once your chart looks the way you want, save it as a layout so it’s there next time you log in. Free accounts get 1 saved layout; Pro gets up to 25.
